Chief Minister Pramod Sawant left for Dubai late Monday evening on a two-day visit to the emirate to participate in the third international AYUSH conference and exhibition, which is being held at the World Trade Center in Dubai from February 15 to 17.

The theme of the conference is evidence-based AYUSH intervention in mind-body health. Union Ministry of AYUSH is associated with the event under the patronage of the Embassy of India in UAE and the Indian Consulate in Dubai.

Goa government has already put up its stall, focusing on promoting the state at the event as a global wellness destination. It is expected that the Chief Minister will emphasise on the initiative taken up by the state government to promote Goa as a wellness tourism destination.
