Party (BJP) president, Damodar ‘Damu’ Naik, on Saturday met the national BJP president Nitin Nabin, in New Delhi.
Later, Naik said that the discussions with Nabin were focused on the future course of action for the BJP in Goa.
The deliberations also included strengthening the party organisation in Goa and the party’s preparations for the forthcoming state assembly election.
A report of the activities carried out by the Goa BJP unit, as well as the action plan for the upcoming Goa assembly polls, was presented to Nabin by Naik.
Furthermore, Naik, along with BJP MLA Sankalp Amonkar, Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar and other senior party leaders, attended a workshop at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi to plan the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
The month-long Abhiyan will be organised from September 17 to October 17 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service.
