Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the ‘World Book of Records’ award presented to him belongs
to the entire Council of Ministers and the people
of Goa.

He was presented the award during the Goa Vision programme organised as part of the Goa Spiritual Festival 2026.

“I consider myself blessed to have been presented with the award by Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, who, through the World Book of Records, has taken cognizance of the work carried out for infrastructure development, human resource development, and spiritual development in Goa through the Government of Goa with the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modiji,” said Sawant.

Stating that the spiritual development witnessed in Goa has been possible only due to the guidance of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, he said the state government will extend full cooperation for the Goa Spiritual Festival.

Swamiji said the World Book of Records had
acknowledged work in infrastructure, human resource and spiritual development in Goa under Sawant’s leadership.

Various awards, including the Goa Spiritual Ambassador, Outstanding Industry Impact Award, Youth Entrepreneur Award and Legacy Leadership Award, were also presented at the programme.
