Paramount SC secured a dominant 110-run victory over Curchorem YCC in the GCA Division A South Zone clash at MCC Ground, Margao, on Thursday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Paramount posted a formidable 266/6 in 45 overs. Dwij led the charge with a well-compiled 61, while Vishant (51) and Yash (45) provided valuable contributions. Rajdeep was the pick of the Curchorem bowlers, finishing with 2/26.
In response, Curchorem YCC struggled to build momentum, with only Kapil (63) and Rueben (21) showing resistance. Om Fadte ran through the batting lineup with figures of 3/33, while Rahul chipped in with 2/11 to bowl out Curchorem for 156 in 34.2 overs.
Paramount’s Om Fadte’s all-round impact earned him the Player of the Match.
