Churchill Brothers eked out a narrow 1–0 win over Bidesh XI Sports Club in a Goa Professional League clash at the SAG Ground, Benaulim, on Tuesday.

Scott Fernandes scored the solitary goal in the early stages of the first half,  His teammate, Rama Gaonkar whipped the ball with pace for a cross only to find Scott at the edge of the box between two  defenders, who then shot it in the bottom right corner of the goal, giving Churchill Brothers an early lead.

Richard Costa was named Man of the Match for his commanding performance in midfield, helping his side maintain control and secure the victory.
