Don Bosco Quepem staged a spirited comeback to overturn a two-goal deficit and defeat TSH Goa 3-2 in the TSH Goa Cup 2026 match at Navelim on Monday.
TSH Goa made a flying start, taking control early through Rilan Fernandes, who struck in the 5th minute to give his side the lead. He doubled the advantage in the 19th minute, finishing clinically to put Don Bosco under pressure and hand TSH Goa a firm grip on proceedings.
Don Bosco, however, responded through Plancio Carvalho initiated the comeback in the 34th minute, finding the net to reduce the deficit and inject belief into his side.
The momentum shifted quickly as Maxwell Oliviera restored parity just five minutes later, scoring in the 39th minute to bring Don Bosco level and unsettle the opposition.
With the contest finely poised, Leejoy Fernandes produced the decisive moment, netting in the 42nd minute to complete the turnaround and put Don Bosco ahead for the first time in the match.
TSH Goa attempted to respond in the closing stages, but Don Bosco’s defence held firm to preserve their lead and secure a hard-fought victory.
Having trailed 0-2 early on, Don Bosco’s sealed an impressive comeback win.
