FC Tuem defeated Saligao Sporting Club 2-1 to win the Augustias Inter-village Football Tournament 2026 title played at Augustias Chapel Ground Golna, Pomburpa.
Tuem began aggressively and created early chances, but it was Saligao who struck first when Nelson Monteiro found the net following a goalmouth scramble just before half-time. Defender Nehal Parab restored parity for Tuem with a powerful effort from outside the box on the stroke of the interval.
After the break, Vismay Daware netted the winner to seal the triumph for Tuem.
