Panaji: Goa registered a dominant 146-run win over Jammu & Kashmir in their Elite Group clash of the Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy, closing out the four-day fixture inside three days at the Hostel Ground in Jammu.

Chasing 267, Jammu & Kashmir folded for 120 in 30.1 overs. The innings never gained momentum after Yash Kasvankar struck with the very first delivery, trapping Basit Nazir leg-before. Aakash Bhat soon followed for a duck, leaving the hosts reeling. Arnav Gupta top-scored with 52, while Rydham and Basit Bashir added 18 each, but the target remained out of reach.

Manish Kakode delivered the decisive blows, finishing with 5 for 28 in the second innings to cap a match haul of 11 for 77. Kasvankar (3 for 26) and Samarth Rane (2 for 40) maintained pressure from the other end as wickets fell steadily.

Earlier, resuming at 24 without loss, Goa were bowled out for 192 in 71 overs in their second innings. Shaantanu Nevagi followed up his first-innings century with a composed 64 off 122 balls, striking eight boundaries. Sarthak Bhike made 34, while Dishank Misquin remained unbeaten on 20. Praful Dhar was the standout for Jammu & Kashmir with 6 for 53.

Goa had laid the groundwork on the opening day with 286 in their first innings. Jammu & Kashmir replied with 207, later adjusted to 212 after five penalty runs were added.
