Vadodara: India rode on Vaishnavi Sharma’s five-wicket haul and half-centuries from Pratika Rawal and Shafali Verma to complete a 3-0 sweep of the women’s ODI series against Zimbabwe with a commanding eight-wicket victory in the third and final match here on Wednesday,

Left-arm spinner Vaishnavi returned figures of 5/39 in 10 overs to bowl out Zimbabwe for 131 in 39.5 overs. Pacers Kranti Gaud and Sayali Satghare claimed two wickets each. Opener Modester Mupachikwa top-scored for Zimbabwe with 37 off 48 balls. Pratika remained unbeaten on 59 off 56 balls, registering her 10th ODI half-century in her 30th appearance.

Shafali provided the fireworks with an unbeaten 51 off just 26 deliveries as India raced to 132/2 in 17 overs. Vaishnavi, playing only her third ODI, had claimed four wickets in the second match.
