Sesa FA edged out FC Goa 2-1 in the GFA U-19 League at Sirsaim ground on Friday.

In the first half Sesa FA displayed control over the ball creating chances at the rival goal, but the FC Goa defense held firm to deny them a breakthrough
before halftime.

The second half saw FC Goa with a renewed purpose determined to break the deadlock. Their persistence paid off in the 73rd minute when Shawn Fernandes tapped one in giving his side the lead.

Sesa regrouped from the setback and leveled the playing field four minutes later as H Ekka
fired one in.

In the dying minutes, Sesa’s Titun R smashed another and sealed his side a narrow 2-1 win.

In another match at Santa Cruz ground, Sporting Clube de Goa defeated Penha de
France SC 3-2.

Sporting Clube’s Kifer Dias opened the scoring in the 24th minute while Naroo and Manohar Matkhar found the back of the net once to seal the win.

Penha de France SC reduced the margin through Vishank Dhargalkar
and S Ahmed.
