Santosh Vishwakarma struck four times as Ponda Footballers cruised to the GFA Futsal League title with a 5-0 win over Cana Benaulim SA in the final at Navelim on Thursday.
Ponda set the tone early, with Vishwakarma scoring twice in the first half to put his side firmly in control at the break. The forward completed his four-goal haul after the restart, putting the result beyond doubt. Tempers briefly flared, resulting in red cards for Keegan and Aditya following an altercation. Samuel Fernandes added the fifth to cap off a dominant performance as Ponda sealed the title.
GFA vice president Anthony Pango presented the trophy to the champions.
