Chikalim : Dempo Dazzlers cruised to a comfortable six-wicket win over Persistent Strikers CPL, powered by an all-round performance from Sushant Chimulkar in the Corporate Premier League T20 Season 3 at the SAG Chikalim Ground on Sunday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Persistent Strikers posted 121 for nine in their allotted 20 overs. Amod Borkar top-scored with 44, while Pankaj Sangtani chipped in with 27. The Dazzlers’ bowling unit kept things tight, with Nitesh Temkar (2/19), Manish Parab (2/22) and Sushant Chimulkar (2/28) sharing the spoils.
In reply, Dempo Dazzlers chased down the target with ease, reaching 122 for four in 16.4 overs. Sushant Chimulkar anchored the innings with a fluent 59, earning him the Man of the Match award, while Ramesh Gawas remained unbeaten on 22 to see the team home.
For Persistent Strikers, Amod Borkar returned figures of 2/24, while Rahul Vishwakarma picked up one wicket.
