Uguem Rising sailed past CAC Cansaulim 5-0 in the 27th Holy Cross Inter-Village Football Tournament at Vodlemoll Kakoda on Thursday.

Uguem opened their scoring, with Hutrihik Badodkar finding the bottom corner in the 4th minute, giving his side the early lead.

Three minutes later, Prathamesh Goakar doubled the lead with a precise low shot, giving Uguem a 2-0 advantage before the break.

The second half saw, Uguem extend their lead as Austin Coutinho made it 3-0 in the 38th minute, before Youhan Dias calmly converted a penalty just two minutes later.

Sidroy Gomes completed the rout, finishing confidently past the keeper in the 46th minute to make it 5-0 .

Despite a late surge from Cansaulim, the Uguem defense held firm to seal a 5-0 win.
