Benaulim/Vasco

Wilred Leisure FC secured a dominant 2–0 victory over Salcete FC, while Vasco City FC were denied full points after USC Seraulim mounted a dramatic second-half comeback to force a 2–2 draw in the GFA U-17 First Division League.

At the SAG ground in Benaulim, Wilred Leisure were in control for most of the match. Dawson Sardinha gave them the lead just before the break with a neat finish in the 43rd minute. Despite Salcete FC’s efforts to respond, Wilred kept the pressure on, and Floyd Antao put the result beyond doubt with a late strike in the 80th minute.

Meanwhile, at Tilak Maidan, Vasco City started brightly and looked set for a comfortable win. Omar Shaikh put them ahead in the 15th minute, and Craig Goes doubled the advantage in the 42nd minute to send them into half-time with a 2–0 cushion.

However, USC Seraulim came out stronger in the second half. Anurag Verma halved the deficit in the 54th minute, and just as Vasco were looking to close out the game, Sohan Fernandes struck in the 80th minute to salvage a point for Seraulim.
