The SusVentures Bootcamp, held at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, brought together 49 students, 12 startups, and 14 mentors for a weekend focused on climate innovation and entrepreneurship.
Organised by BITS Pilani, PIEDS, and SusMafia, the bootcamp was part of the HSS F381 course on Climate Entrepreneurship. It gave students hands-on experience in developing and refining climate-focused startups through workshops, mentorship, and validation sprints.
Twelve student-led teams worked on solutions in areas like clean energy, waste management, carbon capture, and sustainable materials. They received guidance from founders, investors, and subject experts, both in-person and online, helping them strengthen their business models and pitch strategies.

Beyond sessions, the bootcamp had a beachside mixer, bonfire, volleyball, and a mindfulness session.
The weekend ended with a pitch day, where teams presented to climate investors and experts.
