In remembrance of late Suresh Duble and Shashikant Duble the father and uncle of leading Hindustani classical vocalist and state awardee Dr. Shilpa Duble-Parab, the Priyanshu Saunskrutik Saunstha, Porvorim, is organising the 11th edition of ‘Samarpan’.
The annual classical music programme, held in collaboration with the Directorate of Art and Culture and Institute Menezes Braganza will be held on March 15, 4.30 p.m. onwards in the mini hall of Institute
Menezes Braganza.
On the occasion, Rushikesh Phadke from Ponda will perform a tabla solo, while Medha Bhat-Aggere (Karnataka) and Dr. Pravin Gaonkar (Goa) will be performing classical vocal recitals.
Musical accompaniment will be by Sanket Khalap and Dr. Uday Kulkarni on tabla and Anurag Desai and Gopinath Gawas on harmonium. The programme will be compered by Neha
Upadhye.
The chief guest for the function will be veteran artiste and state awardee Damodar alias Bhai Shewde.
