The Goa government processed 568 pending claims under the state and central calamity relief schemes, issuing sanction orders worth Rs 2.8 crore during the Good Governance Week, which aligns with the central government’s initiative.

A statement from the Chief Minister’s Office stated that mega camps were successfully organised across all seven talukas in South Goa. The camps saw 227 online complaints resolved, achieving a 100% disposal rate in South Goa. Additionally, 928 issues related to mutation, conversion, and certificate issuance were addressed.

The government also processed 568 pending claims under the Goa and Central Calamity Relief Schemes, issuing sanction orders amounting to Rs 2.8 crore.

Notably, the camp also initiated the process for 25 long-pending birth certificates for the Wanarmare Tribal community in Shiroda.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that these initiatives mark a significant step in ensuring transparency, accessibility, and efficient governance for all Goans.
