MLT CC secured a 20-run victory over Mapusa Dream Crushers in the Sarsangan Super Series at Arlem cricket ground o. The win propelled MLT to third in the standings with
eight points.

Batting first, MLT posted a competitive 165/7 in 20 overs, powered by a strong collective effort. Team owner Siddhesh Sinai Amonkar found form with 35 off 29 balls (4 fours, 1 six), while Atchut Naik Dalal (34 off 24), Nityay Kuncolienkar (38 off 20), and Manish Kakode (38 off 22) provided crucial contributions. Paarth Kossambe starred with the ball for Mapusa, delivering an impressive 3/18, supported by Keshav Bhat (2/14) and Durgesh Prabhugaonkar (2/29).

Mapusa began their chase strongly with Sarvesh Kamat (33 off 27) and Sanjay Netravalkar (27 off 18), but Siddhesh Bodke’s game-changing spell of 4/22 in three overs derailed their momentum. Despite a valiant 16 off 7 from Varun Kudchadkar, Mapusa were bowled out for 145 in 18.2 overs. Dattaraj Pai Fondekar (2/10) and Manish Kakode (2/17) complemented Bodke’s heroics.

In the second match, Desserts n More Avengers chased down Vimson Panjim Powerplay’s 161/6 with three wickets in hand and two balls to spare, climbing to the top of the points table with eight points.

Batting first, Vimson were led by Vardhan Prabhu Miskin’s quickfire 37 off 19 balls (6 fours) and Sandeep Dalal’s steady 35 off 28. Contributions from Prasad Bhende (22), Siddhant Kunde (21), and Mahendra Pai Kuchelkar (17) pushed their total past 160. Avengers bowlers Nimay Kamat, Akhil Nadkarni, Samrudh Hegde Desai, and Siddhesh Prabhu Alvencar each claimed a wicket.

In response, Aditya Dalal’s blistering 38 off just 12 balls (6 fours, 2 sixes) and Vaibhav Kadkade’s composed 35 off 24 provided a strong platform. Skipper Siddhesh Prabhu Alvencar (27 off 15) and crucial late runs from Akhil Nadkarni (18) and Sachin Bhandare (16) saw the Avengers home at 164/7 in 19.2 overs.
