Young Stars of Moula secured a hard-fought 42-run win over Pedne CSC in the GCA A Division North Zone clash at Panjim Gymkhana on Monday. Rajesh Tukadia delivered an all-round masterclass, earning the Player of the Match honors for his crucial contributions with both bat and ball.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Moula posted 192 before being bowled out in 42 overs. Chirag (39) and Rajesh (35) anchored the innings, while Saish chipped in with 17 runs. Pedne’s bowlers kept things tight, with Gaurav (3-25) and Viraj (3-25) leading the attack, while Somay picked up 2-46.

Chasing 193, Pedne CSC’s innings never gained full momentum despite a valiant 51 from Sohail and a gritty 40 from Rohan. Viraj added 18, but Moula’s disciplined bowling attack proved too strong. Kush (3-36), Rajesh (3-29), and Saish (3-14) ran through the batting order, bundling Pedne out for 150 in 34.4 overs.
