NT Reporter   | Sankhali

Several ‘victims’ of  the alleged cash-for-jobs scam  met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at Ravindra Bhavan in Sankhali on Sunday, conveying their

grievances to him.

After listening to their ordeal, the Chief Minister advised them to file a complaint with the police station concerned with all the evidence they have against Pooja Naik, the main accused in the scam  that is being investigated by the crime branch.

“All your problems will be resolved following the investigation into the case,” Sawant told the ‘victims’.

Speaking to reporters,  some of the cheated people said, “We  had given  our hard-earned money to Pooja Naik with high hopes. But she betrayed us. Till date, we have not received a single rupee back. Finally, having no other option, we met the Chief Minister, who  has assured us that he would help get justice,” he said.
