Goa maintained an unbeaten run on Day 2 of the 36th Senior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship at Nagpur, registering convincing wins in both men’s and women’s
league matches.

In the opening match, Goa posted 58/5 in 8 overs against West Bengal, with Prajyot Naik unbeaten on 33 and Harsh Gala contributing 10. West Bengal could manage only 49/5 in reply, with Akshad Naik (1/6), Harsh Gala (1/1) and Kanaya Gaude (1/12) claiming key wickets. Goa won by 8 runs.

In the second men’s fixture, Goa scored 60 all out in 8 overs against Lakshadweep. Vijay Halgekar top-scored with 14, while Prajyot and Pratik Naik made 11 each. Lakshadweep were restricted to 31/6 in 8 overs, with Akshad Naik (1/3), Vijay Halgekar (2/4) and Pratik Naik (1/2) among the wicket-takers. Goa
won by 29 runs.

In another men’s match, Bihar were bowled out for 32 in 8 overs, with Punit Khandeparkar (2/3), Pratik Naik (2/5) and Harsh Gala (1/4) leading the bowling effort. Goa chased down the target in 2.4 overs, with Akshad Naik (10), Vijay Halgekar (10) and Ranjit Gosavi (9 not out) guiding the side to a 7-wicket victory.

In the women’s league, Batting first against Karnataka, Goa posted 82/4 in 6 overs. Deesha Kambli scored 27, Purwa Gaude remained unbeaten on 19, and Annaliz Gomes contributed 10. Karnataka were bowled out for 24/6 in reply, with Pratiksha Kerkar (2/9), Deesha Kambli (1/1) and Chaitrali Mestri (1/0) taking wickets. Goa won the match by 58 runs.
