Tvisha Sardesai and Ethan Ataide captured the Under-18 crowns at the Baale BPS Open 2026 with assured performances at the B.P.S. Sports Club.

Competing in the Girls Under-18 final, Sardesai displayed control in the key moments to outplay Urvi Panandiker 4-1, 4-3. The youngster dictated rallies early and held her nerve in the second set to seal the crown in straight sets.

The Boys Under-18 summit clash delivered far more drama. Ataide recovered after dropping the opening set to edge Kyan Mavany 2-4, 4-3, (10-4) in a tense match tiebreak. With momentum swinging both ways, Ataide raised his intensity in the decider, finishing strong to claim the title.

The Mixed Doubles draw also produced gripping contests. In the opening round, Anindita Sarwate and Gary Steele squeezed past Anisha Kadam and Aaron Saldanha 7-5 in a tightly fought battle.

Quarterfinal action saw Dunstan Dias and Raisa register a commanding 6-2 win over Valencia Aguiar and Deepak Nahak. Prince Silva and Urvi Panandiker advanced with a 6-2 victory against Poojal and Mohit Manoharan before prevailing in a dramatic encounter against Dias and Raisa, sealing it 6-1, 5-7, (10-1) in a match tiebreak.
