Former executive engineer of electricity department at Valpoi and Bicholim, K Joy Joseph has been awarded as ‘Author of the Year’ award for his book, ‘My Home & My Land’ recently at World Achievers Award 2026 in New Delhi. In the programme organised by Adreneur Consultancy Solution (ACS), Joy Joseph received the award in the presence of former cricketer Chetan Sharma, ambassador of the state of Eritrea to India H.E. Alem Tsehaye, profesor Suba Rajan and Kathak dancer Shovana Narayan.
Previously Joy Joseph has received Mahatma Gandhi National Service Award 2025 for this book written in English and Malyalam, by the ministry of MSME ,
Govt. of India.
