Mapusa: Clube De Salgaocar clinched a narrow 1-0 win over Geno FC in the GPL Super League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa on Friday.
With the win CD Salgaocar moved to the top of the table with 38 points from 36 matches while Geno FC remainedin the third position with 30 points from 16 matces.
The decisive moment came in the stoppage time when Tipanna Bhavikatti whipped in a precise cross into the box. Denil Rebello timed his run perfectly and rose to meet it, guiding a firm header beyond the goalkeeper to seal a dramatic late winner.
