Navelim: Cana Benaulim SA and Ponda Footballers will face off in the final after their respective wins in the GFA Futsal League at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim on Wednesday.
In the first semifinal, Benaulim edged past Futebol Club YFA 1-0, with Keegan Fernandes scoring the lone goal to seal them a spot in the final.
In the second semifinal, at the same venue, Ponda Footballers eased past FC Mardol 6-2.
Dadapeer Patil, Santosh Vishwakarma, Aryan Pattanayak, Samuel Fernandes and Alden Fernandes scored one each, while Mahesh Naik added an own goal. FC Mardol pulled two back through Mahesh Naik and Dhiraj Naik. Cana Benaulim will face Ponda Footballers in the final today.
