They beat Rachol Seminary 4-0 in Fr Agnel Fellowship Cup final
Panaji: Pilar Seminary defeated Rachol Seminary 4-0 to lift the Fr Agnel Fellowship Cup at the Fr Agnel Football Ground.
Pilar led 3-0 at half-time before adding another goal in the second half. Rafael Soren, Daniz Vaz, Pritam Lakra and Ambrosius Lyngdoh scored for Pilar.
Rafael Soren was named Most Valuable Player, while Kuldeep Ekka was adjudged Best Defender. Rachol’s Luis Rodrigues was named Best Goalkeeper.
Chief guest Yatish Dempo presented the championship trophy to Pilar Seminary and the runner-up trophy to Rachol Seminary.
