This tiatr written and directed by Com. Agostinho was released in London with a cast of many comedians from Goa and a few who are abroad. The tiatr is now being staged in Goa but unfortunately, although running to packed houses, the many comedians fail to create a laugh riot.

Janet and Agostinho are a newly married couple, living with Agostinho’s retired father Santan and unemployed brother Bryan. He is an honest policeman and she is a housewife who dresses quite extravagantly, even in the house. Although not corrupt, the cop and his father are generous and hand over money to others. Disputes arise between the husband and wife over this issue. There are also three families who are neighbours. Sally and his son Natalino, Bena and daughter Ritin, and Humbert and his daughter Elita. Natalino is in love with Elita and their friend Joyel loves Seminca, a loud-mouthed girl who leaves others breathless. Flavia is another character who talks a lot and has failed in love twice, calling it a miscarriage. There is also a doctor who handles all ailments. All these characters have some involvement with each other and that is the story of the play.

The main act has some good dialogues and advice. There are many comedians, some play serious roles while others try to create laughter. As for the songs, most of them are serious while others are critical of the government. The band packs a punch while backing the songs. Sets by Pedro Santan have light effects by Ratnakar. The cast has Janet, Flavia, Elita and Semica playing characters with their own names. Ben Evangelisto is Bena and Rishton is Ritin. Humbert is the grumpy frustrated man. Roque Coelho acts well as Santan, the old father. Joyel Bryan, Sally, and Nato are fine in their roles. The comedy borders on vulgarity in many parts and gives the impression that senior comedians are unable to make the audience laugh without commenting below the belt.

The fine band has Theo Alvares (trumpet), Nazareth (saxophone), Jack (drums), Josh (bass) and Arif (keyboard). The background music was loud and mostly used special sound effects. Nato-Bryan-Rishton-Joyel rendered the opening song, a tribute to comedians of yesteryears. There are more songs from these four and Sally, Agostinho, Ambe, Humbert, and others; a duo on parents, from Bryan with Rishton, stands out.
