The Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), on Friday, said that the deadline for payment of various taxes for the financial year 2025-26 is May 31, failing which interest would be applicable.

“The owners/tax payers of the buildings/premises within the jurisdiction of CCP area are hereby informed that the taxes/licence fees are due for payment for the financial year 2025-26, commencing from April 2025,” said CCP in a notice issued.

These include house tax, trade/occupation licence fees, signboard tax and sanitation charges.

The CCP has asked the house owners and trade and occupation licencees to produce latest house tax/trade licence receipts at the time of payment.

“The last date of payment for the said taxes/fees is on May 31, 2025. Payment effected after May 31 will be subject to levy of interest/fines as applicable,” the
CCP added.

“For online payment of your taxes/fees may visit www.ccpgoa.com,”
it said.

The CCP has also informed that there will be
no monetary transaction after March 20 till March 31 due to the financial
year ending.

“Those who have closed down their business activity should apply in writing on or before March 15 for cancellation of trade licence and surrender their trade licence as well as clear all the dues toward trade licence and house tax at the first instance. Further, the house tax payers are also requested to effect payment of house tax for the current financial year before
March 21, 2025 in order to avoid further interest,” the CCP said
