Panaji: Women and Child Development Minister Vishwajit Rane said that 1,728 applications of Laadli Laxmi scheme are pending for sanction under the married category.
Curtorim MLA Aleixo Lourenco had sought details on the number of applications pending sanction under the married category and the time frame by which they would be cleared.
“The eligible approved applicants who have already submitted civil marriage certificates along with bank details would be sanctioned as soon as possible through the state treasury by sending bills to the Directorate of Accounts, Panaji as per remarks of the Finance Department,” said Rane in a written reply.
In another reply, Rane informed that the last sanction under Griha Aadhar Scheme was made on January 17 to 859 beneficiaries and they have been notified about the sanctioning of their applications via SMS.
He also informed that the next sanctioning under the scheme will be done once the applications are complete with all valid documents and eligible as per the survey report of respective WCD block offices.
