Panaji: The government has constituted a high-level inquiry committee to conduct probe into the alleged matter of paper leakage by a faculty member of the Goa University (GU) and other serious allegations appearing in media.
The committee comprises Justice (retired) R M S Khandeparkar, former High Court judge, as its chairman and former DIG Bosco George and former registrar of Goa University Dr Radhika Nayak as the members. Prof M R K Prasad from Salgaocar Law College is the Member Secretary. The committee has been asked to submit its report at the earliest.
The directorate of higher education will provide secretarial support to the committee.
Goa University will provide well-equipped space for the committee’s work and meetings.
Goa University Vice Chancellor Harilal Menon had constituted a fact-finding committee to inquire into these allegations, which submitted its report on March 19.
