They enter quarters via shootout after 1-1 draw

Panaji: Inter Kashi secured a quarterfinal berth in the Super Cup after eliminating Bengaluru FC via penalties following a 1-1 draw at Kalinga Stadium. The underdogs dominated early proceedings before Ryan Williams put BFC ahead in the 61st minute. Matija Babovic’s clinical 87th-minute flick forced penalties, where IK custodian Shubham Das denied BFC to seal a 5-3 shootout win.

Inter Kashi shocked the ISL runners-up with their aggressive start, twice threatening through Edmund Lalrindika’s creativity and K Prasanth hitting the woodwork. Williams capitalized on Das’s misjudgment to open scoring, finishing from a tight angle after Noguera’s long ball.

Aritra Das became the catalyst for Kashi, delivering a pinpoint cross that Babovic converted.

Kashi were composed in the shootout with Munoz, Bijoy, Stojanovic, Das and Babovic all converting. Das’s save against Noguera proved the difference despite successful attempts from Williams, Chhetri and Diaz for Bengaluru.
