Shiroda Youth Club edged out FC Siolim 2-1 in the 2nd edition of the Curtorim Inter-Village Cup at the DSYA ground, Curtorim, on Monday.

Shiroda took the lead in the 22nd minute when Jonathan D’Costa found the back of the net with a well-taken finish. The second half saw FC Siolim level in the 35th minute through Akshay Mandrekar.

However, Shiroda regained the advantage as Ravindra Gaude struck in the 40th minute, restoring their lead.

Despite FC Siolim’s efforts in the second half, Shiroda’s defense held firm to seal the win.

Shiroda’s Jonathan D’Costa was awarded the Man of the Match by Valito D’Costa, in the presence of Neves Fernandes.
