Siddharth, Akhil, Rushil enter semis

Siddharth Nunes, Akhil Shirwaikar and Rushil Anikar advanced to the semi-finals of the men’s open singles at the Bandodkar Panjim Gymkhana Tennis Open 2026.

In the mixed open doubles, Siddharth Nunes and Aishwarya Nunes moved into the semi-finals with a 6-1 win, while Sreenath and Tanya Shelyazhynska-Caldeira progressed with a 6-0 victory.

In the boys under-12 singles, Arsh Sardesai (4-2, 4-1) and Christian Shawn Fernandes (4-2, 0-4, 10-8) advanced, while the girls under-18 singles saw Tithee Bhoomkar (4-1, 4-1) and Tvisha Sardesai (4-1, 4-0) register wins.

In the men’s open doubles, Siddharth Nunes and Arup Angle (6-0), Mano Chhabra and Neale Fernandes (retired), Shaurya Awasthi and Rushil Anikar (6-2), Rajaram Paiginkar and Kyan Mavany (7-5), Noel Noronha and Raju Kundaikar (6-0), and Prince Agnelo Joven De Silva and Nishad Shevde (6-2) advanced.

Anurag Agrawal and Jai Gill won their men’s 45+ doubles semi-final 6-1, 6-2.
