Smash and Dash, Vipers enter semis

Margao: Nivian Vipers will take on GCC Paddlers, while Smash and Dash face Uniqlo Warriors in the semi-finals of the Saxtti Ultimate Table Tennis Team

Championship (UTTTC) at Gomant Vidya Niketan, Margao.

The eight-team championship, organised by the Saxtti Sports and Cultural Club, concluded the league phase featuring Kiran Titans, Nopex Ninjas, Goa Superkings and Sameer Spinners alongside the four semi-finalists. The tournament stood out for its unique format, with paddlers from different age groups competing together in team-based encounters.

Nivian Vipers, led by Sachin Soares, progressed alongside Amit Naik’s GCC Paddlers, while Niraj Kannure-guided Smash and Dash and Sandeep D’Mello’s Uniqlo Warriors also secured their places in the last four.

Several of Goa’s leading paddlers were in action during the championship, including Wesley Do Rosario, Chandan Caro, Ishita Colaco, Anushri Naik, Samaira Soares, Dhruva Kamat, Pradnya Caro and Shantesh Mapsekar.

Earlier, the event was inaugurated by GTTA president Sudin Verenkar in the presence Yogiraj Kamat, Brennan Tavares, Ulhas Raikar and Dinesh Sinari, along with other club members.
