Jonas Colaco nets for winners in regular time, Stalen restores parity

Raia: Parish Youth Nuvem edged Sao Jose de Areal 5-3 via tie-breaker in the 52nd Custodio Memorial Cup at Raia Panchayat ground on Sunday.

The game started slowly  and slowly built up in action. both sides tested each others goals,  but the  breakthrough came in the 31st minute as Nuvem took the lead through Jonas Colaco, but Stalen Oliveira equalised for Sao Jose de Areal in the 41st minute.

The score remained 1-1 at full time.

In the shootout, Nuvem held their nerve with successful spot-kicks from Jonas Colaco, Nigel Couthino, Shenoy Colaco, and Alvito Dias. Areal replied through Aryan Carvalho and Ashnoy Gomes, but two misses cost them the game.
