Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda clinched the Late Fr Gervacio Pinto Memorial Cup with a 4–3 win on penalties after a 1–1 draw against UB Ambaulim at Curchorem.
The first half produced few clear chances, with both sides struggling to break through organised defences, and the teams went into the break goalless. The match opened up after the restart, and Fatorda struck first when Jeff Barreto finished calmly in the 31st minute. The lead, however, lasted only two minutes as Visiton Fernandes levelled for Ambaulim with a sharp effort in the 33rd minute, setting up a tight finish.
With neither side able to find a winner in regulation time, the match headed for a shootout. Fatorda held their nerve from the spot, converting through Rahul Sharma, Valito Miranda, Caven Araujo and Alfred Noronha. Ambaulim stayed in the contest via successful kicks from Daren Fernandes, Visiton Fernandes and Alex Fernandes but missed one at a crucial moment, allowing Fatorda to secure the title.
