Navelim: Futebol Club YFA thrashed Maina SC 8-1 in the GFA Third Division League at the Rosary Church Ground, Navelim on Tuesday.
Shanon Furtado scored a hat trick, striking in the fourth, 34th and 38th minutes, while Adler Teles made it 4-0 in the 50th minute. Joshuah Vaz, Royce Pinto, John Fernandes and Moksh Pathania completed the scoring for YFA.
Maina’s lone goal came through Agnelo D’Costa in the 41st minute.
At Raia Panchayat Ground, Raia Sporting Club defeated Arlem Youth Association 5-1. Valroy Dias scored twice in the fifth and first-half stoppage time, while Deep Pasvan, Naveen Gautam and Anson Souza also found the net. Millson Barreto scored for Arlem.
At Varca Ground, Parish Youth Nuvem edged St Rock’s Youth Club, Calata-Majorda 3-2. Jeson Miranda, Francis Colaco and Mark Dias scored for Nuvem, while Lenny Vaz and Presly Pinto found the net for St Rock’s.
