Goan unit Majestic Wipes ventures into tissue paper manufacturing

Majestic Wipes a Made in Goa, Made for the World, brand launched in the state. The tissue paper manufacturing unit is located in Shiroda. It manufactures high-quality, exclusive range of tissue paper products such as napkins, toilet paper, and facial tissues.

Majestic Wipes offers versatile solutions for personal hygiene, household cleaning, and more. The venture is founded by Anand Khandeparkar, whose vision is to make products that meet international standards of quality and sustainability. The global marketing and distribution of the company is helmed by Utkarsh Prabhuborkar, who aims to expand the brand’s footprint across global markets.

“The international tissue paper industry is currently valued at approximately $ 90 billion and is expected to continue its upward trajectory,” said Khandeparkar, at the company launch event.  He emphasized that, the company is committed to innovation, hygiene, and sustainability.

 Prabhuborkar, in his address, expressed confidence in the product’s potential, stating, “Majestic Wipes will operate on the principles of quality and consistency. We are proud to represent a world-class product that originates from Goa and is ready to serve global consumers.”

The global launch on Majestic Wipes was held at the World Trade Centre, Goa, on July 19,

WTC, assistant director, trade promotion, Cyril Desouza, applauding the company founder for venturing into tissue paper manufacturing, pointed out, “today’s launch marks the beginning of an exciting journey for Majestic Wipes. With the support of the global World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) network comprising over 300 WTCs across nearly 100 countriesthe brand is poised for remarkable international success.”

Desouza added that, the launch of Majestic Wipes is a testament to Goa’s growing role in high-quality manufacturing and export-oriented ventures, further solidifying its position on the global trade map.
