Students of Dempo Higher Secondary School of Science (DEMPO PACE), Miramar, Panaji, have recorded excellent results in the recently declared IIT-JEE Mains Session 1 examination for 2026, with several securing percentiles above 99. Pratham Sinai Navelkar emerged as the top scorer from the institute with 99.56 percentile, followed closely by Achintya Saxena with 99.52 percentile, Pramit Mahajan with 99.28 percentile and Joy Kakodkar with 99.05 percentile. Their scores place them among the top performers in the country.

Other students who achieved high scores include Chantal Dias with 98.27 percentile, Ethan Dias with 96.74 percentile, Harshavardhan Bharne with 96.51 percentile, Sairaj Naik with 95.46 percentile, Abhirv Parab with 95.09 percentile, Namesh Churi with 91.70 percentile and Madhur Lotlikar with 90.84 percentile.

“We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements in IIT-JEE Main Session 1. Eleven students out of 39 have achieved 90 percentile-plus scores from our Panaji centre alone. This performance reflects the dedication of our students, the guidance provided by our committed faculty, and the strong academic environment fostered at the institution. We are confident not only of many more students securing high marks in IIT-JEE Mains Session 2 in April, but also of our students achieving excellence,” the principal Clarice Colaco said.
