The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) has received 10,800 applications for undergraduate admissions 2025 through the Samarth e-Governance portal, covering 40 colleges under its administrative jurisdiction.

“Only candidates who have completed their application process, including document uploads will be considered for the final merit list. Students with incomplete or incorrect documentation still have the opportunity to correct their submissions. The correction window will remain open until May 8, during which applicants can upload the required documents via the Samarth portal,” said Goa State Samarth e-Gov Project Unit Project Director Dr Mahadev Gawas.

“Students who were unable to apply in the first round of UG admissions will have an opportunity to apply in the second round, subject to the availability of the seats in the programmes, which will be announced at a later date,” Dr Gawas said.

For courses such as BBA and BCA, individual colleges will conduct their own entrance examinations and DHE has advised the applicants to check directly with the respective institutions for exam schedules and guidelines.

The DHE has also asked the students not to submit original documents or make any fee payments to confirm their seats at this stage. All admissions will be carried out based on a common merit list schedule, which will be announced shortly.

DHE has said that the GU-CLAT entrance exam will be conducted on May 11 and relevant details and updates are available on the official website: https://dhe.goa.gov.in

Meanwhile, DHE has asked candidates with a valid GU-ART 2025 score (conducted by Goa University) to submit their online application for B.Ed. Admission 2025 through the DHE Goa Samarth portal.

“It is mandatory to apply on the Samarth portal of DHE Goa to be considered eligible for the counselling process and admission confirmation at any of the B.Ed colleges under DHE Goa. Applications submitted through any other means will not be entertained,” Dr Gawas said, adding that the last date to submit online applications has been extended to May 8.
