HSSC results on March 21

Panaji: Results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, earlier this year, will be declared on March 21, at 5 pm, at the Goa Board headquarters, Porvorim.

The HSSC exam was conducted from February 10 to February 27, across 20 examination centres.

The Goa Board informed that the consolidated result sheet will be made available to schools through their login on https://service1.gbshse.in from March 25 onwards. The result will be available on the official website of Goa Board http://results.gbshsegoa.net

Altogether 17,283 students including 8,203 boys and 9,080 girls had registered under regular category.

They included 4,110 students under the Arts stream, 5,313 students under the commerce stream, 5,428 students under the science stream and 2,432 students under the vocational stream.

In addition, 139 private candidates (fresh), 28 private candidates (exempted), 1,282 candidates opting for NSQF subjects, 214 CWSN candidates, 15 regular repeaters (whole) and 471 regular repeaters (exempted) have registered under other categories. A total of 34 higher secondary schools had offered NSQF subjects for 1,282 students.

The Goa Board further informed that last summer, 17,684 students had appeared under regular category for the HSSC exam, out of which 16,067 students had passed, posting a passing percentage of 90.85%.

The Goa Board also informed that the schedule of the collection of mark sheets will be notified separately. It stated that the mark sheets shall be collected from the IT Section of Goa Board by authorised representatives of the respective schools, and no individual request from parents or students will be entertained.
