Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will be on a two-day visit to New Delhi on June 10 and 11 to attend the 11th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog and a meeting of the NDA alliance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on June 11.

The apex policy-making body brings together Chief Ministers of all states and union territories to deliberate on key development priorities and strengthen cooperative federalism.

Sawant is also scheduled to participate in the NDA alliance meeting, called in the wake of the completion of 12 years of the Modi
government, during his visit to the national capital.

The Chief Minister is further expected to hold one-to-one meetings with some Union Ministers and senior Bharatiya Janata Party office-bearers.

Before his departure to the national capital, when asked about a possible
ministerial reshuffle, the Chief Minister said that
he would comment on
the matter after returning from Delhi.
