Cumborda SC advanced to the next round of the 9-a-side Curtorim Interward Football Tournament, after defeating Damdolem SC 3-2 at Curtorim.
Cumborda SC took the lead in the 18th minute through Rio Fernandes before Damdolem SC equalised in the 20th minute through Anthony Cardozo to make it 1-1 at half-time.
In the second half, Cumborda SC regained the lead in the 40th minute through Mackson Fernandes, who converted a pass from Melvin Fernandes. Rio Fernandes struck again in the 45th minute to extend the lead to 3-1.
Damdolem SC reduced the margin in the 47th minute through Ryan Fernandes, but Cumborda SC held on to seal a 3-2 win.
Rio Fernandes of Cumborda SC was adjudged man of the match and the award was presented by Lourdes Fernandes.
