Tiny Goals Academy and Fr Agnel High School, Pilar emerged champions in the Under-10 and Under-12 categories respectively in the AIFF Blue Cubs League held at Pilar.
The league, organised by Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town and Goa Carbon Ltd as part of their CSR initiative in association with Dempo Sports Club, brought together young footballers from schools and academies across the region.
In the Under-10 category, Tiny Goals Academy lifted the title while Fairyland High School finished runners-up and Talent Academy secured third place.
In the Under-12 category, Fr Agnel High School, Pilar were crowned champions. Tiny Goals Academy finished runners-up while Fr Agnel Central High School, Pilar claimed third place.
A total of eight schools and two academies participated in the tournament. The participating schools included Fr Agnel HS Pilar, Fr Agnel HS Central Pilar, St Andrews HS Goa Velha, Fairyland HS Goa Velha, Immaculate Heart of Mary HS Goa Velha, Dayanand Arya HS, St Lawrence HS Agassaim and Montessori School. Tiny Goals Academy and Talent Academy featured in the academy category.
