The new tiatr from Lawry Travasso narrates a tale of treachery. The show opens on Kane and Jenny, romancing in the park and proclaiming undying love. Enter Sarah, screaming and asking what is going on. The two declare their love but Sarah is indignant. Kane is her lover and Jenny is her daughter. Sarah’s son Lester, is upset with this double game. His father, Raphael is in the Gulf, earning money to please his wife and family. But Kane who is rich, finances the high expenses. But will this work? The sad part of the entire tale is the sufferings of the man of the house and the affairs that some wives have.

Anthony de Ambajim provides the sets. The cast has Antonette playing Jenny, the girl who loves her mother’s lover. Roma is the mother; in a negative role that she does well. Frankie is the two-timing Kane, having a great time with his wealth and women. Vilber plays the unfortunate son displaying anger and sadness. The pick is Anil Pednekar, superb as the husband who has lost all, in spite of good intentions. Lawry does a minor role. There is humour from Jade, displaying fine facial expressions with loud dialogue delivery. Myron is her husband; David is his brother while Cruz and Raymond lend support in the comic situations. Check out the scene when David gets up from his sleep, to see a woman in white carrying a lantern. The band led by Norman (keyboard) has Jeslin and Josney (trumpets), Bobby (bass) and Rocky (drums). A good combination of music! The opening song is rendered well by Myron-David-Lawry. There are more songs from Roma, Antonette, Rioma, Lawry, Saby de Divar, and others. A solo from Peter de Arambol and another by Rioma, need special mention.
