Chandor: FC Siolim held their nerve to defeat Sao Jose de Areal 5-4 in a tie-breaker after a goalless draw in regulation time in the 51st Chandor Seamen Trophy at the Chandor Church Complex ground on Wednesday.
At fulltime the score was 0-0. In the tie-breaker, Siolim proved to be better shooters from the spot with Vipul Pednekar, Vishank Dhargalkar, Pushparaj Mandrekar, Tushar Haldankar and Akshay Mandolkar converting their kicks from the spot while Sao Jose de Areal replied with successful kicks from Bersal Viegas, Stalen Oliveira, Josley Gomes and Mohamed Mansoori.
