They get the better of Blue Knights 3-1 in final
Curchorem: Black Falcons emerged champions of the first 7-a-side football tournament held at Figuredo Ground, Pontemol, Curchorem, defeating Blue Knights 3-1 in the final.
Blue Knights led in the first half, but Black Falcons came back in the second half to clinch the title. Blue Knights finished runners-up.
On the opening day, Blue Knights drew with Green Ninjas, while Black Falcons defeated Red Sentinels 4-1. Alvito D’Cunha was awarded the first scorer prize in the final. Neto Vales was named the best goalkeeper, while Sagar Panwar received the Man of the Tournament award.
