Goa Cricket Association produced a strong all-round performance to defeat Nepal Cricket Association by three wickets in the 42nd All India Uttarakhand Gold Cup 2026 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun.

Chasing 201 for victory, Goa reached 215/7 in 33.4 overs with Veer Yadav leading the chase with a composed 80 off 91 deliveries. The youngster struck four boundaries and four sixes while anchoring the innings after Goa lost early wickets.

Lalit Yadav provided valuable support with 42, while captain Snehal Kauthankar added 23 to keep the chase on course. Abhinva Tejrana and Deepraj Gaonkar also chipped in with useful contributions as Goa crossed the target comfortably in the closing stages.

Earlier, Deepraj Gaonkar starred with the ball, returning impressive figures of 6 for 37 to restrict Nepal A to 201/9 in 34 overs. Trit Das top-scored for Nepal A with 104, while Arjun Kumal made 53 in a crucial partnership that steadied their innings after early setbacks.

Goa bowlers kept striking at regular intervals despite Das’ century, with V Koushik and Lalit Yadav claiming a wicket each to support Deepraj’s match-winning spell.

For Nepal A, Yuvraj Khatri picked up two wickets, while Hemant, Pawan Saraf, Dev Khana, Basir Ahmad and Lalit Rajbanshi claimed one wicket apiece.
